Tezos Town Hall: Exploring Edo

What are some interesting features of Edo, the latest amendment proposal on Tezos?

This week, Gabriel Alfour, Lead Developer at LIGO & Marigold, Mehdi Bouaziz, Software Engineer at Nomadic Labs, and Arthur Breitman, Early Architect of Tezos, joined a moderated discussion with TQ Tezos’ Co-Founder Jacob Arluck. They shared many thoughts on potential areas for future improvement from a developer’s perspective and weighed in on how the amendment process has evolved throughout the past four successful upgrades of the network into the latest proposal.

They also touched on how an expedited process fosters a more frequent rollout of upgrades and features as well as the costs and benefits of, according to Gabriel, a “top-down vs. bottom-up” approach to proposing and implementing new features.

Stream this Session to learn about what they had to say about useful (and not useful) applications of autonomous smart contracts and blockchain governance.
