Fireside Chat with Arthur and Kathleen Breitman
What are Arthur and Kathleen hopeful to see on Tezos in 2021?
TQuorum 2020 officially came to a close last week, and to help us cap off the year, we were joined by Arthur and Kathleen Breitman who offered us a retrospective on some of the developments in the ecosystem this year, and while not making any Tezos predictions, they did share what they were hopeful to see develop next year.
They touched on how Tezos looks today compared to their original vision outlined in the Tezos position paper, with Arthur commenting that, while it’s not explicitly stated, he still has hope that “Tezos will take over the world” in terms of global adoption.
Kathleen gave us an update on Emergents, a blockchain-based digital card game, explaining that they had tested the game among Magic: The Gathering players. On that front, she said, “the main takeaway from 2020 is the team built a fun game.”
Arthur gave us an update on Checker, token stabilization software, compared Tezos vs Ethereum in terms of initial scaling strategies, and explained why developers with a long-term perspective who want to start building on a blockchain might be drawn to Tezos.
Stream this Session, and don’t forget to get in touch with the Tezos community in 2021. We appreciate your support, and together, we’ll build a better future for Tezos.
